2024 GESTEM Cancelled

It is with regret that we must inform you that GESTEM 2024, scheduled for Thursday, May 16, 2024 at the Auraria Campus, has been canceled. We understand the disappointment this may cause, and we sincerely apologize for any inconvenience. More details are in the Cancellation Notice. We appreciate your understanding and support during these challenging times.

CHECK IN

Student, Volunteer, and Workshop registration check in is in the front lobby (west side) of the PE Event Center building.

PARKING

NEW PARKING RECOMMENDATION!
Please park in the 7th Street Garage (799 Lawrence Way). If you use parking code 7075182 and GESTEM sponsors will cover the $7.75 parking fee.

You can also park in the Holly Lot which is right behind St Cajetan’s.

WORKSHOP DROP OFF

Limited parking spaces between the PE Event Center and the North Classroom building may be used for material loading and unloading only. This loading zone is at the corner of 11th St and Larimer St between the PE Event Center and North buildings.

SCHEDULE OF EVENTS

SCHOOL REGROUPING

After Workshop #3, guides will collect surveys from their students and escort them to the PE Event Center. The gym tables will be reset for each school group as a meeting place to assemble for departure. Students should be ready for pickup between 2:20-2:30pm.
School buses will drop off and pick up from: 855 Lawrence Way, Denver CO 80204

FOOD OPTIONS

Coffee and burritos will be available for all attendees from 9-10AM in the PE Event Center
A simple box lunch will be provided to all attendees. This will include a sandwich (choice of turkey, roast beef or roasted veggies and hummus), a cookie, chips, and a bottle of water. If you have any dietary restrictions, please feel free to bring your own lunch.
Lunch will be picked up in the lobby for the Workshop #1 building. You can either eat lunch in your Workshop #1 classroom or you are welcome to find a place to eat as a group outside.

WORKSHOPS

Workshops will be in one of four buildings, the PE Event Center (where the welcome and food are served), the North Building, King Center or the Science Building. 

PHOTOGRAPHY

Please remember that some of our students do NOT have signed photo releases. These students can be identified by red lanyards. If you take personal photos or video please make every effort not to capture these students.
We also ask that you edit all photos after the event to remove student names and schools from their name tags.

VOLUNTEER WRAP UP

Please join us in St Cajetan’s after our event! Our professional photographer will be available to take pictures of company groups that will be published on our website after the event.
